HN 2580 Rotary Shaft Seal with PTFE Sealing Lip
The HN 2580 rotary shaft seal is a high-performance PTFE radial lip seal designed primarily for rotating shaft sealing in low-pressure environments or conditions with pressures slightly above atmospheric. This standard seal type features a highly flexible sealing lip combined with an additional protective lip, providing reliable sealing performance across a broad range of industrial applications.
Standard PTFE Sealing Lip — Engineered with a highly flexible PTFE compound (standard HS 21059), enabling excellent conformability and long service life.
Protective Secondary Lip — Ensures enhanced dirt exclusion and extended wear resistance.
Low Friction Behavior — Optimized lip geometry reduces friction, enabling smoother operation and minimal energy loss.
Suitable for Dry & Lubricated Conditions — Performs well both in lubricated systems and in dry-running environments.
Compatible with Soft or Unhardened Shafts — Flexible lip design allows use on unhardened shaft surfaces without compromising sealing performance.
