What Is an RTJ Gasket?

An RTJ (Ring Type Joint) gasket is a precision-machined metal sealing ring designed for high-pressure, high-temperature, and critical service applications. RTJ gaskets are widely used in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Offshore, Power Generation, and Steam systems, where leakage is unacceptable.

RTJ gaskets seal by metal-to-metal contact between the gasket and the specially machined groove in the flange face, creating a high-integrity, pressure-energized seal.
